Sun Rhythms

My ship breaks through a new day.

Visions of the past glisten in the ocean's spray.

Saling to the rhythm of the sun.

Southern breezes blow, the wind is my captain.

Another day gone by, no sign of home.

A crew of empty stares and still you're alone.

Day and night seem to drift together,

Only difference is the change in the weather.

refrain:

I don't know if I'll ever make it home.

I don't know if I'm coming home.

I don't know if I'll ever make it home.

Oh God, I wish that I was home.

Albatross is still on our tail

Land is far and the winds fill the sail.

Darkness falls. At the dead of night,

You can see the Southern Cross in the bright starlight.

Sun fades like a close distant friend,

Time drags quickly 'til the sun sets again.

Fall asleep to the rocking of the ocean,

Mesmerized by the lullaby motion.
